About

The mission at Thehealthwiseblog started with the intent to direct people to the best products on the market that I personally used and believed in which I will still practice, but this time with some anecdotes and science to back them up. However, as I’ve grown in different areas of my life and gained new experiences, I’ve found myself shifting more toward education and exploration. This blog is now a place where I share what I’m learning and bookmark important information I come across — like a public journal I can always come back to (because let’s face it, I won’t remember it all). This is an educational, personal, and yes, even spiritual journey — for lack of a better word. And some things, I feel, are worth sharing.

The inspiration behind this blog comes from a deep belief that health is our greatest wealth (say it louder). There’s a strange silver lining that comes with chronic illness or disability — it forces you to pay attention. In my case, it led me down a path of research and curiosity. It all started with herbalism. I just wanted to know how I could use natural tools from the earth to improve my biological function — without allopathic medicine, and honestly, without the intent of sharing it with anyone else.

Fast forward, and here I am — still learning, but sharing it now too. Along the way, my interests expanded. Some of the topics that really pique my attention include:

  • Human genetics and rare diseases
  • Epigenetics and how we can influence our genes through natural and even free practices
  • Immunology
  • Basic neurology and the human nervous system (how it works, what it looks like — very cool)
  • Pharmacognosy
  • Herbalism
  • Routine and healthy living
  • Fitness – in the realm of calisthenics
  • Supplements — from phyto-compounds to cautious experimentation with bio-identical or lab-synthesized compounds
  • Off-label pharmaceutical use (like low-dose naltrexone, metformin, rapamycin, etc.)
  • A growing interest in anti-aging
  • And lately, I’m very curious about how A.I. might and could influence the future of human health and healthcare practices

I see potential in A.I. to help us identify disease-causing genes, create targeted medications, and improve diagnostics across the board — whether it’s genetic disorders, rare diseases, or common ones like cancer or autoimmune issues. I’m aware that some of this is still out of reach or extremely expensive, but I believe the possibilities are real and worth watching.

I want to share what I learn in a way that’s honest and helpful — especially for people who are navigating health challenges without clear answers. I know what it’s like to be stuck in bed, reading forums and searching for anything that might help. That’s how it all started: a Google Doc full of ingredients I needed to avoid.

Since then, I’ve written four different eBooks on health-related topics — each one rooted in personal experience and hours of independent research. They’re not available yet, simply because they need proper formatting, and honestly, I’m still evolving. I may revise them further, combine ideas, or even expand on them as I grow. I’d also love to see them in paperback one day.

On top of that, I had three recipe books in the works, but life, as it tends to, got in the way. Time and energy haven’t always been on my side, but these projects are still on my mind — and they’re part of the bigger picture for this blog and the mission.

This is a long-term journey. I’ll continue to build, learn, and share what I can, when I can and whilst I can.

There was never a grand vision when I first got interested in holistic and natural remedies. Like most people who become ill, I just wanted to feel better. I’ve talked about my health struggles on other platforms, and while I don’t have a textbook diagnosis, I’m still working on it.

What started as something deeply personal eventually turned into a bigger mission. I’ve seen both sides — people promoting health online without personal stakes, and people, like me, who found themselves here because they had to figure things out firsthand.

At one point, I was just proud of the work I’d done in private: the lists, the notes, the eBooks. It didn’t occur to me to share any of it, or to offer things for free — partly because of how much time it took and partly because I didn’t know how. But this blog has helped me reframe all of that. It’s not just about profit. It’s about making something meaningful out of difficult circumstances.

I’m also someone with a big heart for my family, even if I try to hide it. Maybe that’s why I’m so driven to help the people around me and to share what I’m learning, even while I try to stay balanced (still working on that part). I’m not the best at communication or the smartest person in the room — but I care, and I want to keep improving.

As long as my health holds up, I see great things ahead. And if not, I’ll still keep going until I can’t. I hope you understand where I’m coming from and respect the sincerity behind all of this. I’m also working on being less introverted, so that these things are easier to talk about in time.

That’s all for now — I’ll continue to update, improve, and upload what I can. I’ll keep things transparent, and I’ll share what I learn when it feels worth passing on.
